Riparian Schemes
Teifi Tributaries
The Teifi Rivers Trust has completed many riparian habitat schemes on tributaries of the Teifi The following pictures are from one such scheme on the river Cerdin. The banks of the river, having been fenced, allows the fauna to flourish between the fence and the river. This provides a habitat for insects, and cover for other wildlife.

Drinking bay for livestock. Note the swing gates at the sides. These lift up when the river flow is high but still create a barrier so that livestock can’t wander into the river.
