Volunteers from the Teifi Rivers Trust,  together with the other Rivers Trusts volunteers  in Wales, regularly carry out Invertebrate monitoring on the rivers and tributaries. Training is provided by the Salmon and Trout Association in association with  Afonydd Cymru and the other Welsh Rivers Trusts,   The Teifi Rivers Trust,  gratefully  thank our sponsor The Big Lottery Awards for All scheme, who granted us  the funding,  enabling the trust to hold the course,  and also enabling us  to procure  the necessary equipment that the volunteers use, and also to the management of the Tysul Hall for accommodating the course.

The results of the monitoring is collated in each trust by a co-ordinator who then passes the information on to Natural Resources Wales.. The NRW  publishes all the information gathered on their website.
